After purchasing a discount voucher from Groupon for Milan Direct, we decided to purchase a rug and a Eames chair. Although they don't have a physical store, the photos on their website were detailed enough for you to get an understanding of the looks. Their shipping costs were quite reasonable, considering how heavy some of these items were. Unfortunately they didn't have stock of the eames chair and that delivery of the chair would be in September. Regardless of this situation, the shipping costs were the same regardless of whether the order came as a single item or sent together. The rug arrived first and was packaged really well. Delivery person rang up ahead to confirm that someone would be home and was delivered. Quality of the rug wasn't spectacular, but neither was it bad. After using it for a couple of months, quite happy with the rug considering the price we paid for it. As for the chair, after about a month in August we got an email letting me know that they received stock early, so we decided to get it delivered. As was the case with the rug, the courier company rang ahead to confirm delivery, and the driver also called on the day to confirm. The chair was delivered with no damage due to the good packaging. The only negative side to the experience was having to put in screws to put the chair together which proved challenging. Overall the product is of a good quality and am happy with the purchase. Will purchase from them again.
I purchased $1050 worth of furniture (Industrial stool, Egg Chair, RAR Rocker and Le Corbusier Lounge).
Website was easy to navigate, photographs were of high quality with diff angles shown of product, payment and confirmation was seamless. Delivery was on time and coordinated (driver's mobile was provided, he called on day to confirm time)
Quality was ok, it is replica furniture so don't expect quality for the low price.

My best friend was having a house warming and I knew that she really wanted an egg chair, thus my girlfriends and I decided to get her an egg chair as a present.
We looked around and everything was pretty pricey! Say around $500-900.
I stumbled across Milan Direct while searching and they happened to have a sale for the hanging egg chair. $289 from $380!
Delivery was cheap as well so we decided to get two, one for my friend and myself! Total of $818
Delivery was quick, and they were friendly, they contacted me before delivery to make sure I was going to be home on a Saturday. Unfortunately I missed the delivery service however the delivery man contact me on my mobile to re-arrange another area for delivery which was on his way home so this was convenient.
When the present was opened by my friend she jumped and was in excitement! So was I , finding that the quality of the chair was perfect, especially with a big cushion !!
Warranty was for one year and item was weather protected, this was a great and affordable price!!
I have recommended Milan Direct to my other friends who are searching for an egg chair as well! They havent found anywhere cheaper than this!
I ordered 2 items in September, one of which should of been shipped within 24 hours, the other was not going to be until the end of October. It is now November and I am yet to receive the item that apparently shipped within 24 hours. I have asked multiple times for an update and get no response. If there is a delay then let the customer know, do not just ignore emails. TERRIBLE customer service. well it is actually non existent service. I have no idea about the quality of the goods I purchased as I have not received them. do not waste your money here.

I ordered an item as part of my son's Christmas gift on the 29th of September. Heaps of delivery time. Apparently not. After sending 8 emails and receiving 5 actual replies (not including the automated ones) asking for patience, and making 3 phone calls. I was told today, 9th of December, they don't know where my order is or when it will be delivered and that I could cancel my order. They didn't even care!
I do a lot of online shopping and I have never come across such rubbish service. Stay away and share this review.
Bought a Lounge chair and Ottoman. It said in stock on the website. A week later I receive an email saying that stock in on back order and that they wouldn't receive the stock until 16/12/2015. I wrote an email asking for an update on the 15/12/2015. No phone number, no human interaction only email and web chat. Delayed responses always chasing and update, no tracking number supplied. Just automated emails and online responses. Don't buy from this store unless you're happy to be dicked around. I will never buy from these guys again.
