I ordered a Kogan Agora 4G+ phone on 5/12/14 and after 2 1/2 weeks of no order update I made an enquiry with Kogans so called "customer service department" I was told they would get back to me with an answer which they never did so my next email was asking them to cancel my order as I could see I was not going to get it by Christmas.
The next thing I know I get an email saying it had left the warehouse and here is a tracking number. One week later and the tracking message that read : Shipping information received by Australia Post had not changed so I asked Australia Post to investigate the issue for me which they did very promptly, only to say that they had never received the item from the sender and the case was closed!
After reading of numerous other stories of people having the same issue on their Facebook page I started responding to these peoples comments only to find that Kogan have removed all of my posts have been removed in order to maintain their 99% customer satisfaction rating I guess! I am now in the process of retrieving my money via a Paypal dispute as Kogan do not have the decency to refund customers money when they cannot supply the item.
I ordered a Samsung S5 mini which was suppose to be dispatched within 2 weeks at the latest. Week 3 I email for a refund and they keep telling me its being processed. I am to the point of contacting the ACCC just to get a refund. The real company is run out of HK and the people in Australia have no idea what is happening.
Kogan withdrew over $1060 from my credit card without proper verification. After four days, they still have my money.
I have tried to contact them, but they don't list their email address on their mobile website. When I contacted them through Facebook, I was quickly blocked from messaging or leaving comments.
Is this an acceptable way for an online store to treat its customers? If this is how online shopping works, I want no part of it.
ive never experienced such poor customer service in my life it was horrible i sent my phone back to them to get fixed and almost a month later they get back to me and say there is nothing we can do we will send you the invoice for return shipping AND THE PHONE WAS UNDER WARRANTY. They blamed it on me when it wasnt my fault. Never buy something off Kogan if you might have to return it because they will just f**k you over
