My order of a Micro USB cable from Kogan was a breeze to put through, they've really improved their online ordering system making it super simple to check out with. Their email updates are also quite great.
The cable itself came in a padded bag and seems to be good quality so far and was super cheap.
Free shipping was included however they ship from an overseas warehouse (despite being an Australian business) so my order took just over 2 weeks to arrive which was mentioned on the website.
There was plenty of payment methods including PayPal which is also a big plus.
I purchased a remote control UFO from Kogan as part of a sale. The final price with delivery was $50. It arrived in 4 days from the time I ordered.
I wasn't expecting much from the product itself, when It arrived I unpackaged it and found that one of the rotars was broken. Luckily there were replacements in the package. I fixed it and then attempted to fly it. It worked for about 5 minutes then one of the rotors stopped spinning completely. I couldn't get it to work. I didn't bother attempting to get a refund, I though it wasn't really worth it.
So the product came quick, was priced well but didn't really work. You get what you pay for.
Cheap price but the worst after sales service experience considering I was buying an item around $500.. Ordered nexus 4g. Got nexus wifi They sent me the wrong item and it's taken over a month, yet I'm still waiting The website originally said it would ship in 2-3days which helped me in my decision to buy it. It took them over a week to assess that they gave me the wrong product. (took me 5 minutes once it was out of the box).it's not hard to see a SIM card slot ain't there.. I'm guessing this is a common occurrence on the kogan website. All I can say is buyer beware...
Surprisingly quick shipping time. Large range of products at decent prices
Ordered a Samsung solid state drive in preparation for an upgrade to a laptop purchase that i had recently made. Free shipping was part of a promotional purchase.
Pricing for the product was quite competitive, but the stock was shipped overseas from an international warehouse. There is a risk of purchasing international electronic products for warranty purposes, but i had faith in the reliability of the drive that i had purchased.
My order was confirmed, with my order being shipped out the next day (via Toll). Four days later, my item arrived.
As this was my first Kogan order (from memory), i was quite happy with the quick turnaround time.
The installation of the drive is waiting for the laptop before it is installed.
I've heard quite a few horror warranty stories with Kogan, so fingers crossed, i'll never have to go through it myself. If something bad happens, perhaps next time, i'll pay a 10% premium for the local warranty and greater peace of mind.
For now, only time will tell. So far, based purely on price and shipping time, i'd say i would purchase again from Kogan, but be mindful of what products i buy.
Large range of products, with quick international delivery
Placed an order for a mobile phone (imported stock). was given free delivery as part of my purchase.
Payment was easy via PayPal and payment was confirmed the same day. My item was then marked as posted 3 days later, with a tracking number via Toll Global.
My item then arrived 2 days later. Quite happy the delivery time, considering it was shipped from interstate.
Phone was in working condition and so far runs smoothly. Not sure about warranty, but hopefully won't have to use it. Haven't heard the best things about Kogan & warranty.
Based on this experience, i would be happy to buy from Kogan again

I must admit that I didn't purchase too much from Kogan but I did buy a Stylus Pen during the peak shopping season (Christmas). The website itself is easy to place an order on.
Payment was easy with Paypal. However Shipping time was a real let down. I know Kogan has it's warehouses in Hong Kong and I know that my product was a $1 clearance but I must admit that shipping shouldn't take ~ 1 month.
Despite the shipping time, overall I was satisfied with the product itself and how it was easy to place an order.
I've got 2 samsung galaxy s3 for a really cheap price! almost half of the retail prices.
Shipping is not that fast, it took around 2 weeks after they said they are processing the orders but considering the price I can get through Kogan, pretty happy overall!
