I purchased 2 dresses and 2 long tops from their sale at around 40% off. They have beautiful clothes but are pricey so I often wait for their sales. Website easy to use and shipping is a flat rate of $10. Shipping is free if you spend over $200. Country Road do not refund on sale items so the risk of ordering online during the sales is that if something doesn't fit you only have the option of an exchange or credit note. I kept 2 items but returned the other 2 for a credit note in which you have a year to use. Good shopping experience overall except I would be careful with how much I buy in the sale due to their no refunds on sale items policy.
You will see from my previous posts that I was not happy with their sales promotion.
Having said that i used the 25% off and bought a bomer jacket. I had tried it on previously in store but thought it was a bit pricey. I guess that the 25% off was just what i needed to push me and get the jacket.
The shipping took about 3-4 days. Really quick. Got 1 email notification and the within 3 days the item arrived. Was well wrapped.
I have been looking for a new suit for a while, but fount most places are selling them for way too much. I have previously bought several Country Road suit when they were discounted and find that they fit me very well and are good quality.
So, I waited until after Xmas for that awesome sale ... which unfortunately for me, didn't include suits. I wanted to go around to some other country road stores to check if they had any sales, but couldn't find the time to get out there and search around.
I am a bit sceptical when purchasing online for clothing, as it can be hard to know what size to pick. Especially since Country Road suits have different fits for the same size. And I don't like the wait of a couple of weeks to receive my suit.
Jumped on their website to find that, yes there weren't any suits on sale. =( But I noticed they had a Outlet section. Checked it out and behold there was a suit, in my size on sale. Was able to get 1 jacket for $99 and pants for about $70. Total of about $240 for suit with 2 pants. BARGAIN!! I read their warranty section, and they stated that if the clothes don't fit, you can return them at any Country Road store. Definitely a plus.
Normally the shipping is $10, but if you spend over $200, its FREE! I ordered on a Sunday avo, and received it on the Wednesday! Now that's fast shipping. They sent me an email saying that they sent me the suit in 2 packages rather than the one (though both arrived at the same time). It was delivered by StarTrack with a tracking number.
Have read on that other clothing stores provide really nice packaging sometimes better than in store, for their online purchases. I would have to say that Country Road Outlet is totally different. It came in the StarTrack bag without any Country Road packaging. That was really a disappointment. Only real complaint is that the suit jacket didn't come with a coat hanger, but the 2 pants did have a hanger. I would have preferred if they gave me a coat hanger for my jacket! Well I guess that's the outlet section.
Overall very happy with the price, the shipping and the suits!
Purchased several women clothing items (Tops, Knit, skirt) from the countryroad.com.au online store.
Great online shopping experience. Able to purchase the same items online as you would at the actual shop, and also be able use the discount coupon offers.
As a country road member, they send regular newsletters with sales, coupons and new product information.
Also I was able to return one of the items as it was the incorrect size at a physical store. No issues and item was exchanged.
Shipping took just over a week, which I expected as I bought during their spend and save sale. Shipping was also free which was a bonus.
