I placed an order with Myer online for a pair of shoes and a soap dispenser after seeing the shoes I wanted had gone on sale. These were to replace a pair I already own, same brand and style that I have worn almost to death. I had been waiting for them to be on sale and when they were, at $99.00, they fell just under the threshold for free shipping, so I looked around the online store for something else to bump me over the magical $100 mark.
I bought the soap dispenser to replace one previously bought from Myer online that was actually faulty when I bought it, but I didn't really realise just how faulty until I had used it for a while and by then it felt too late to complain, so I just replaced it. Happily, the replacement is super.
The order arrived in good time and was crazily well packed, in a huge box.
Ordered 31/12/16 and chose to "Click and Collect" which is free and there is no minimum spend. Got a text the next day to say the item was ready for collection. Click and Collect will only work if a particular store has stock and you have to go to that particular store to pick it up.
Brought the email and I.D. to the store collection point and received my item.
Easy and smooth transaction. The only negative is you can't use any Myer gift card for purchases online.
Myer didn't have the Clinique items I wanted in stock so the lady was kind enough to process it for me online. She also suggested that I purchase the pack because it was better value for money. Very happy with the service and can't wait to receive my products in the post (free delivery)!
My recent experience with Myer leaves me with questions:
Has Myer no understanding of how an online shop should behave? Have they done NO research as to standard waiting times and customer expectations?
I ordered two jackets (same style in diff sizes) ten days ago. By the end of the first week I was concerned, as I'd received no confirmation or anything. I emailed customer service to find out what was going on. I received no reply from their customer service team! Finally, more than a week later a tracking number arrived in my inbox. I saw that the jackets had only been posted that day! By the time they arrive, they will have taken longer than an international order from other stores!!

The jackets arrived and the one that fits still has the security tag attached, so I can't wear it!! There's no way I will keep it now. I like but don't love it and I won't be bothered returning it to get the tag taken off and then take it home. It can go back with the one that doesn't fit!
I would NEVER buy from Myer again for something I wanted in a hurry: my advice is to set aside THREE WEEKS from order to completion, and only buy from their online store if you're absolutely desperate for the thing you're buying - otherwise, go elsewhere!
I bought my goods during the massive sale when they were cutting brands from their stockists so the pricing was amazingly good. It was half price the sale price, so I managed to save up to 60-70% off really good items like Melissa boots. The shipping was a bit strange, but not in a bad way. They shipped goods as soon as they received each item - so they weren't sent altogether, but separately. It was free if you spent over 100$, so it didn't really matter how they shipped my goods in that case. I got them very fast and I'm very satisfied with my purchases.
I ordered a new Doona from the Myer website when mine needed replacing and I saw that they were running a sale on Doonas.
They only had a limited range available in the brand and size that I was looking for, but that helped me make a decision, as I was having a hard time choosing one.
Shipping was free as my purchase was over $100 and the parcel arrived really quickly. It was very well packed, someone had gone to some trouble to modify a box so that it was large enough to accommodate the doona box safely.
The doona is fabulous, shipping was great and with the sale, the price was great. I am really happy with this purchase.
I ordered an Evodia set of hand cream and perfume roll-on at mid-day on 25/06/15, it was available for pick-up the very next day. The pick up place was a bit hard to get to at the Sydney Myer because you had to get up to lvl 5 but apart from that, the transaction proceeded very smoothly.
I'm glad I ordered & paid online then went to pick up because it saved on postage and time as there was no line, also when I went to the bath and beauty section to try find my pack, I couldn't find any.
Overall, really happy with the service - would use again.
