I ordered some perfume from Myer during a free shipping promotion as they had the best online price I could find.
The website was easy to use and the ordering process was simple.
Shipping was relatively quick to WA and care had gone into the packing of the order, however the box was still a little squished when I opened the parcel. This isn't an issue as I bought the perfume for myself, however this would be a problem had I bought it as a gift.
Overall, I am really happy with this purchase and would happily purchase from Myer online again in future.
I ordered some new tea towels from the Myer online store during a few postage promotion.
The Myer website was easy to use when I searched for tea towels and I found the checkout process simple to navigate.
My order shipped quickly and I was kept up to date with my orders movements via email. When my parcel arrived, it was well packed and the tea towels were as described.
I was really happy with this purchase and would readily order from Myer online again.
Problematic website, subpar prices. Item delivered though
Ordered a Nespresso Coffe machine in preparation for Fathers Days. Received free delivery as the order was over $100.
Can't say the website was very user friendly. Consistently wouldnt recognise my address, nor alternate addresses i tried to input. As i was attempting my order on a Sunday, i couldn't contact customer service for assistance as they were not open on Sundays. I tried contacting a store for assistance and after speaking to someone, was advised my call would be returned. I never got a call back.
I decided to try again the next day and this time managed to place my order. Received an email confirmation.
My item was then marked as shipped 2 days later. it arrived another 2 days after that. Overall, 5 business days to receive it. I was happy with that.
Looking around, i found the price of the same unit wasnt particularly competitive. Combined with my (lack of) customer service and difficulties in actually making the online purchase, i think that Myers was just lucky that i was lazy and stubbornly persisted to complete the transaction.
i can't say i was happy with my first experience with buying from Myers, but if the price and product is right, i would consider buying from them again. i just hope they improve the online buying experience...
Myer was having a sale so I decided to buy myself an instant camera. I chose the instax by fujifilm and it is AWESOME. It's pastel pink and the pictures are super cute and last a very, very long time. It arrived within 2 days (even though shipping advertised was about a week). It comes with a warranty through the myer website as well as a fujifilm warranty. I'd definitely shop with myer again.
I bought a camera in Myer's stocktake sale and I'm so happy with it! It takes wonderful pictures and was shipped the day after I ordered it. It arrived within 4 days (standard shipping which was free) and I had no problems. It was packaged well to avoid anything from being damaged in transit. The pricing was amazing (I ended up getting it at around 30% off in the sale) and the camera has a myer warranty as well as a panasonic warranty.
I ordered a set of 3 chloe perfumes, 1 vera wang perfume set, 1 bardot top and 1 pair of bettina liano jeans. There is free shipping if you spend over $100. My items were all sent out separately, therefore all arrived separately. This was frustrating as they all had to be signed for and I had to go to the post office on several occasions to pick up the parcels. It would be nice if they could ship them in one package, one of the items I received was wrong so I went into a store and got a refund. The girl who served me in store was rude.
My last package arrived over two weeks from the date I ordered which is very poor as it is being delivered domestically.
Usually myer takes a little bit longer to ship things out, but I got a shipping confirmation the day after my order. It then arrived 3 business days later which is quicker than 'standard' shipping advertised on the website.
I ordered a foundation by benefit, all up with shipping it cost me more than I'd pay in-store, but I don't have a myer where I live and I had no makeup so I can forgive them for that.
They're a very professional company, and my package arrived in perfect condition. The only thing I was worried about was that the seal of the package opened VERY easily and I'm surprised it didnt open in transit and the product be lost. All in all, a good purchase.
