^ Not really, Myer is a great store I like to visit from time to time. They recently had website problems during the massive boxing day sales so to atone they were offering free shipping until 05/01/2014 and online exclusive deals.
I bought a lovely lip balm that took only 4 business days to ship and process! Especially impressive as their site must have been bombarded with customer orders.
It arrived today in a bubblewrap envelop via registered post. Loved the quick service! I prefer their physical stores to shop at though because then I can try products/clothing on and touch everything.
I ordered two fragrance sets and a candle for a click and collect order. They contacted me a week later saying that they need to source the items from another store therefore need to post them to me. I had advised them the day after I put it the order that I no longer wanted one of the fragrance sets, they said that's fine. However, I still haven't received a refund or either of the fragrance sets. I received my candle today which came in a box that is peeling and really bad condition.
I expected a lot more from Myer and still waiting on a resolution on my refund and other fragrance set. Hopefully they get their act together.
The products came separately which made it very hard for me to track. It took me over 2 weeks before I decided that the 2 remaining items were not going to arrive and to email them about it.
I was advised that the first item was no longer available and they attempted to contact me before refunding the $ into my account. They must've forgotten about the second item as they advised it was no longer available and my $ will be refunded.
I enjoy being able to purchase from a reputable retailer where I can trust the quality and brands stocked. However, I'm not sure whether I'd order so many items together again as their emails do not clearly articulate the status of each item in the order and made it up to me to keep track.
I bought some DKNY perfume from the Myer online store. I had ordered from the website before, but do not do so regularly.
The perfume that I wanted was really well priced on their website and the cost of postage didn't kill the deal. Postage was really quick and the perfume was really well packaged.
I was really happy with the purchase and would happily buy from them again, easier than fighting the queues in a physical store actually.
I have just purchased an item for a friend's wedding. viewed online registry and opted for free delivery as pick up within three days was only from the city store. Received item within 3 days. Website would be improved with links to items from the registry page. Used item codes to find item & purchase. Called registry section at Myer to have registry updated.. Seemed harder than it should be as I was transferred to 3 people.
A great department store online site. I purchased a Breville grill on special at the time and it was still much cheaper than the major online appliance stores. It was delivered within a week and came in a very well packaged box, even included free gift wrapping. A very quick and easy process.
Bought this for only $19.95, with free shipping which was an excellent price. Delivery took 5 business days, with 3 to actually be shipped, but otherwise was very happy. Product was in excellent condition and no issues. They replied to my query very fast and was very happy.
