GraysOnline is an Australian online retail and auction company, offering a huge range of consumer, industrial and commercial goods, direct from manufacturers and distributors.
I'd been having some difficulty deciding between a Sony A57 twin lens camera kit and another camera. I found this one for $250 less than any other retailer in Australia, with free shipping.
I usually like to buy electronic equipment locally so as to avoid problems if I have to make a warranty return, but the one local store who stocks it had been extremely unhelpful when I had called to make enquiries a couple of days earlier.
The listing stated 2 to 3 weeks for shipping, but I ordered on a Sunday, so my order wasn't processed until the Monday, and I had it by the end of the week.
This was my first experience dealing with Grays Online, and I'd have no hesitation in doing so again.
On May 7 I ordered a red Prinetti Machine Washable Heated Throw for our cat to sleep on during winter! It was despatched the very next day and was received on May 12. Excellent!
The price was fair with free shipping. Whilst our cat is still not sure if it's to her liking, we are satisfied with the quality of the product.
On April 4 I ordered a Prima 2000W Convection Heater at a great price. We didn't try to use the heater until May 5 when we discovered it didn't work! Fortunately we were just within the 30 day return deadline. I contacted Grays who emailed the paperwork necessary to return the heater which was picked up on May 8.
A replacement was despatched on May 14 and received the next day. The replacement heater works satisfactorily so the value, in the end, was good.
I bought an Orologio Grande Collection Men's Watch on July 14 and received notification from the carrier on July 18 that delivery had been attempted (hard to believe as I was home when the attempt was supposedly made) and that I could pick up from a location 25 minutes from my home! I was not impressed.
The communication from Grays, however, the quality of the watch and the price were all great.
I bid for and won a 12 bottle case of Redstone Ridge Shiraz 2009 on August 28 and received the case on September 3. The price I paid, including their "buyer's premium" and delivery, was less than $4 per bottle!
The five year old Shiraz is smooth, Grays Online's communication was perfect and the price......what can I say?! Fantastic value all round.
On March 1 I bid on and won a 12 bottle case of 2012 Goose Chase Chardonnay from Margaret River. Communication was perfect: confirmation I had won the auction, invoice, advice of despatch, automatic tracking advice from the carrier. The total price I paid, including delivery and buyer's premium, worked out at $5.30 per bottle..........and the wine is excellent!
