I had previously looked at variable heat soldering stations in store, but could not justify the cost for the very odd occasion we would use it.
HobbyKing advetised a special, at around 1/3 of the price of the cheapest I had found elsewhere. At around 2 weeks, shipping was a little slow, but due to reviews I had seen on the net, I was expecting this anyway, so no disappointment at slow shipping.

i have only started using them, so cant make much on a comment on the quality/longevity.
considering the price i paid for 15 batteries (delivered) is the typical price for only 4 at a bricks and mortar store here, im more than happy with the purchase and delivery times
