Some things can be cheaper online compared to instore pricing
I ordered three Glee cds off this website. Two of the cds were the same price as instore while the third one was three dollars cheaper online. I decided to buy them all offline and do an instore pick up. I paid via paypal and I had to wait for an email saying that my order was ready for pick up.
I ordered on Friday and by Saturday afternoon, they had said that my order was ready to be picked up from my local store. Visited the store on Sunday, and showed them the piece of paper to pick up the goods. I had thought that the goods would have already been picked up by then but no, they picked it right then for me. That was ok I guess. They checked my id and then gave me the cds.
Overall a good experience. Why pay shipping when you can just order online and do a local pick up at your store? :)
I recommend buying cds online/instore at Jb Hi Fi. They usually work out to be much cheaper than most stores. When certain cds come out, you should buy them as soon as they are released - after a while, the prices may go up again (which I have seen for many of the Glee cds from $10 to $24).
JB Hi Fi's website has an excellent range of products; I find it much easier to buy online than rummage through their shelves in store. Additionally, shipping is fast and free, with items well packaged. In this case, I had the product in only 3 business days. Highly recommended.
Ordered a DVD, 30 Rock Season 5 for $15.98. It retails for $30 usually and even via Amazon it was $16.80 + shipping, so this was an amazing price for an Australian retailer. Shipping cost $0.99, which is ridiculously cheap. Usually they've offered free shipping though, so it was interesting that they are now charging for it. Perhaps it was just because it was close to Christmas, who knows. I received an email two days later to say it had been shipped (I ordered it on a weekend) and it arrived the next day. So very impressed with the speed of shipping. Can't fault this site, they are reliable and have good deals.
A beloved Australian store from the comfort of your own home.
JB Hi-Fi's competitive prices are only a few clicks away in their e-store.
If you do not have time to visit the store itself - the JB Hi-Fi website is the best option for quickly finding the product you need. JB stocks a massive range of items from movies to radios to iPads. Rare movies are also readily available from the e-store where they may not be easy to find locally.
JB Hi-Fi's prices range from average to absurdly cheap and they never stop having sales. Many times throughout the year the website (and in store) will have reduced price sales (eg. 20% off televisions).
Delivery is very fast - often reaching you in a couple of days. There is also the option to pick up items in store which is a useful option for larger products.
An anecdote: I purchased a hard to find blu-ray (Paprika) from their e-store (The only copy in my state was an hour drive away!) and recieved it two days later!
Overall JB Hi-Fi is the leading option for most media purchases. They ensure you will have your item in your hands speedily for a fair price.
Recently preordered Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm, the beta key was sent within a day. What's great is the fact that they will price match if the game drops in price! Shipping in the past has also been reliable.
JB are one of many major retailers who offer click and collect shopping. I love this service. My experience with JB was great, they were by far the quickest click and collect service I've used.
I bought a USB car charger for my phone early in the afternoon, around 1:00 pm, and received an email saying that I could pick it up after 5:00 pm the same day. Price was good for the charger, JB is always competitive.
I ordered The Sims 3 for PC, $49.00. It was a very simple process, and only took about less than a week to arrive, which surprised me as I was anticipating maybe two weeks.
Quite satisfied with the price, although it wasn't brilliant.
