Placed an order for a screen protector for my camera. All protectors in physical stores were not the right size for the camera, as the size of the LCD is different from the glass size.
In fact, I made a purchase with my camera which didn't fit, which was more expensive...
I found one protector on DX for only $1.50 which included free shipping. The product arrived on the 21/5/13, which is about 2 week from order date. Have to say that it's pretty quick for this, considering i didn't have to pay for shipping.
The protector is good quality too. Sticks on the camera without any hassles.
Would definitely make another purchase here again.

I have been using dealextreme for a couple of years now and they consistently have the lowest prices on popular items such as USB cables, phone accessories and many others. Their head office is based in Hong Kong so all their shipments originate from there and can take a while, but they generally offer free shipping with most of their items. Highly recommended if you are looking for a bargain!
Deal Extreme is quite cheap and good for purchasing small novelty items and basic usbs, cables etc. The quality of the torches and usbs i purchased was reasonable for the price i paid, also taking into account the free shipping. The shipping took a while though because it was from Hong Kong. Generally, i am very pleased with Deal Extreme.

For under $10 shipped, not a huge investment to try it out.
The order was a little slow to be marked as shipped (2 weeks), with the item did arriving a month and 2 days later. So overall, approximately 7 weeks from date of purchase to having the item in hand.
More towards the slow end of delivery times, but still within my 2 month allowance.
As for the Google glasses. quite an interesting concept and can be fun to play with for a while. but there are more apps that need to be developed to support it before it really takes off.
As my first purchase from Deal Extreme, i'm not unhappy with the experience, but not blown away. I would consider purchasing from them again, but would prioritize other online stores first
DX is a great website to buy electronics especially accessories.
In this instance I purchased a small speaker for my iPhone. It was a very cheap price but the quality of the item was good. The best thing is DX will ship anywhere for free including Australia. The shipping however is very slow and in this case it took 6 weeks which is fairly typical for DX. The DX reviews on this product were accurate and helpful. There is also a live chat in multiple languages which makes asking question or sorting problems fast and easy. DX was great for this purchase.
