By terrible I mean criminal, I bought an SDCard from MemoryCity and it was faulty, I posted it back registered post and they refuse to answer my emails or refund me. They have my money and my sdcard. Stay away from MemoryCity if you don't want to get ripped off.
Had a look around a couple of places for a SD Memory card. Wanted something that could store a lot of photos and movies. I own one of the SanDisk Extreme Pros so thought of getting something similar. I saw that there was a deal on OzBargains, where they were offering free normal shipping. Shipping is normally about $4 to $8 depending on the speed. Ended up getting a 128GB Sandisk Extreme, for about $150. The extreme pro was a bit too expensive for the amount of GB.
I placed an order in and got confirmation quickly. On their website it says that shipping would be within 3-5 business days. I received my on the 6th business day on the 13/5/13. Was a little bit disappointed with this as i was hoping to receive the item before the weekend to being using it. Gave them 2 stars for shipping as they did not provide the product within their estimated timeframe.
Package cam in a small envelope, without any padding. The box was flatten, but the memory card is fine. I did find out, after the fact, that the price was pretty much the same as other eStores.
Memory City does provide a 1 year warranty, but I haven't the need as yet, and hope I don't need to use it.
Overall, I would make another purchase here, but would shop around a bit more before making the purchase.
I ordered the Sandisk 16gb micro sdhc class 10 card from Memory City as the price was great from an AU site. The card arrived within two business days and has been working seamlessly in my new mobile phone. I would happily deal with Memory City again!
I used Memory City a week previously with sterling results and this was no different. The web site has occasional special and this was highlighted from another site (Ozbargain).
