Borders, now known as Bookworld has free shipping on all their products. I purchased some discounted books which arrived in perfect condition within 4 working days. The prices are quite competitive and many items are cheaper than can be found in store. Customer service was also quite helpful in helping me with general queries.
A great thing about Borders is the free delivery, although I've noticed some of their products are cheaper on the shelves, so I wonder if the delivery gets factored in... nonetheless it's easier than getting to a Borders (my closest one is 25km away) and books arrive in reasonable time. In this order, they all arrived separately (different suppliers) between 7-14 days - so be organised if it's for a gift.
Ordered a paperback edition of Raimond Gaita's "Romulus, My Father", after signing up for their rewards program (saved me 20% on the book). Order was dispatched the next day, and I received it 2 days later – free shipping is fantastic. Great range, prices and shipping. I think this used to be Borders, before they went bankrupt. I've found sites with cheaper prices, but I couldn't find the book I ordered anywhere else for a cheaper price.
Bookworld, in my opinion is great for textbooks. From the site I purchased a mathematics book, 'New Senior Mathematics, extension 2', new for 70 dollars including postage. The book arrived in pristine condition and there was no errors regarding payment or delivery. It was a stress free sale and for that I am happy about the site and my purchase. It's an Australian bookstore and thus all purchases are high quality. This site is great and versatile thus I believe it is a high classified site competing against well against other online bookstores such as booktopia.com.
I've ordered about 10 books and DVDs from them over the last few months. All have arrived in reasonable time. It's great to know my money is going to an oz store rather than an overseas one

Borders delivered it well, however my particular choice of such book was not all the more perfect. The 4 unit maths book is okay, and slightly too easy for conventional year 12 4u courses. Although, some areas are very challenging. The book also doesn't offer written introductions to new theories, well only a little. The book bases its learning on examples, which can make learning tricky.
Being Australia based, the delivery took around 3-4 business days, In my opinion it is reasonable, as opposed to international delivery time lags.
