Shipping is awful to Australia
I recently bought a dress from here for a wedding (should of looked at reviews before I bought) I also didn't know they were based in Los Angeles silly me but I gave them a chance because I really loved the dress. I ordered it on 19th of January and thought oh I'll give it a couple of days because they do live overseas. I messaged the lady there and said my situation that I have a wedding on the 17th of February and that I was just wondering when my item would be dispatched. The lady told me my item would be dispatched the following Tuesday the 26th of January. I gave them a couple of days before I contacted again this was on the 29.01.16 wondering if my item had in fact got dispatched like she said it would. She replied it will be dispatched the following Friday. Now I am a little annoyed at the fact on whether to trust them and if it will in fact be here by the wedding date. So no I would not shop here again because of shipping but I do love there clothes and the people were easy to contact and DID actually reply.

It's sad for a business that could have such potential.

Not impressed
I'm not one to write reviews but in this situation it's the only way to be heard.

I ordered a necklace and a dress on the 15th of November from Lucy in the sky. Firstly I had no email telling me about my purchase or even thanking me I only had a PayPal email to know that I actual ordered something. Now the items took a while so I decided to check Lucy in the sky's website. I found my order and realised it had an estimated time that my necklace should arrive between the 25th-30th of November. My dress was estimated on the 27th of November to the 2nd of December.

Two different timings I know. Well I was patient as I did see that Australian orders could be delayed.

On the 2nd of December my dress got dwlivered but I still had no sign of the necklace. So I began to find a way to contact them to get some reassurance to what has happened to my item.

I waited 3 days for a reply which is only meant to take one day according to them. Then sent another still no reply.

Good thing is ive finally recieved my necklace nearly a month later. But that's not good enough. Terrible service. I will not be shopping here again and wouldn't recommend anyone too.

Has gone downhill since relocating
I use to shop with Lucy in the Sky regularly and was very happy with the service. My items would come within a couple of days.

However, I have been very disappointed with my last order.

I ordered two items on 16th August.

On 21st September I received a parcel. It only contained one of the items I had ordered.

I had to contact them many times to figure out what had happened. It turned out item was faulty and would not be sent.

After many emails back and forth they said they would refund me. Months later and I still had no refund. I chased it up yet again and eventually received store credit on 23rd December. Pretty poor service for what was once my favourite online store.

What happened?
I used to order from Lucy in the Sky regularly, and loved that the shipments came so quickly!

I ordered a dress on the 5th of August, it didn't get process and shipped until yesterday (11th of August) and isn't estimated to reach me until the 19th. This is exceptionally slow service, especially given the 1-2 day turn around that I used to expect from Lucy in the Sky.

I won't be ordering from them again any time soon.
If you previously receives your item within 1-2 days, i'm assuming you live in Australia? The reason why you would have received it so quick is that they were located in NSW Australia a few months ago until one day the owners decided to pack up and relocate to the US without giving their employees any warning, and left them to figure that out themselves. Their employees are still owed thousands of dollars in wages and leave entitlements but of course they will not respond to anyones calls or emails. You would have most likely seen a message on their site recently which states that they "apologise in advance for any delay in delivery's as they are extremely busy with orders at the moment and they are working around the clock to keep up with the shit loads of orders they are receiving" (or something like that). No, you would be receiving less orders due to the increase in cost of delivery and you're just struggling because you don't have anyone working for you!
So please stop using their services! :)

Worst customer service!
I purchased a dress and once again the size and the measurement were completely wrong. They said they would send a express post bag that the company provid and 5 weeks later and I'm still waiting for it. I have sent 3 msg to customer service to let them no I'm still waiting (I have screen shot proof) and no one has contacted me back. So now I'm minus $54.95 and stuck with a oversized dress. This company is a perfect example of why people are so sceptical about buying online.

Bad customer service
Great prices but worst customer service EVER! All I wanted to do was exchange two dresses. If they didn't have my size then I was happy to get a store credit. In order to get this store credit, I'll need to return the dresses within 14 days. How am I suppose to do this if they don't even reply to an email? Instead they spend all day posting pictures on their Facebook page which is apparently more important! I love shopping online and have never experienced bad customer service like this. I won't be shopping on this website again. I'll also be advising my friends not to either. Really disappointing.

Worst shipping and customer service ever.
This was my second purchase from this store and it was one of the worst experiences ever. I ordered a playsuit for my friend and did not receive, and still have not received it. It may not be their fault for why I have not gotten it yet because the postage service that they use is very bad. They say they put it outside your house, but I called and they said there was no proof of delivery, but insisted me that it was delivered already.
However I understand that it may not be in their hands, but the customer service that I received from them was horrible. I had to message them at least 2 times before I got a response, and I did not spam them at all! I waited at least 3 or 4 working days for a response and never got one before messaging them again. Also for the first few times I did not even get a proper response, all they said was to call the place which I did and complained again. In the end and after more than a month, and many raging messages I finally received store credit as a refund. But this was AFTER I had to suggest it to them. So I was forced to purchase from them again.
