I purchased and paid for a HP Desktop Computer from the Starcom http://www.123done.com.au website in August for my 10 year old niece. Paying only $70 for the unit I was skeptical however relied on the fact the actual store was not to far away from me and they were offering a 1 year replacement/repair warranty on parts. 5 months later, the computer runs perfectly and we haven't had a problem yet, so in November when I needed to buy a secondhand laptop for testing at work, I didn't bother looking anywhere else.
I again purchased and paid online for a HP NC6400 2GB RAM Core Duo 1.6Ghz DVD CDRW 14.1' Wide Wifi XPP with a 1 Year Warranty! for $188. requesting pickup as an option (due to the store being on my way to work.
Although the batteries are not covered, when I pickup the the laptop back I found the battery would not hold charge, this ended up being no hassle, I just popped in the next time I could and they exchanged it for me on the spot.
I will defiantly be recommending them to anyone looking for a refurbished, affordable computer or laptop. Although I opted to pick up my online order, their communication & speed would suggest shipping would be efficient as well.
They use Australia post and from memory and charge around $20 for registered AusPost Shipping.
