I ordered two down filled jackets off Lands end and received them well within the shipping time, which was good. However, when I tried on my jacket which I had bought to travel Europe in winter it wasn't very warm at all despite the warmth rating, as I was freezing when walking my dog in it in Sydney's winter! However my dad is happy with his and Land's end's quality is usually satisfactory! The site is easy to use and we received significant discounts on our items.
It is often difficult finding decent plus sized clothes in Australia, so I often venture further afield to make my purchases. While Lands' End is not exclusively plus sized, they have a fantastic range of well cut, fantastically made, brilliant quality clothing. I have been purchasing from them for a number of years.
My most recent purchase was made on 6 May 2013; some long sleeved nightgowns, and also a Jersey Pleat Neck Dress. The dress was a backorder item, with estimated shipping to occur from May 7.
I received confirmation of my order immediately, and then received notification of shipping on 9 May.
I received the items on 20 and 21 May (the dress came separately), well packaged in a box with invoice and a returns slip (...which won't be necessary as all the items are great!).
