I ordered a kilo of honey direct from a farmer using the Farmhouse Direct website after receiving an e-mail advertising a free shipping promotion. The honey was well priced when compared to what I would pay at my local supermarket. Especially so with free shipping.
This was my second purchase using the Farmhouse Direct website and each time I have found the website to be very user friendly and easy to navigate. The product descriptions are clear and the important information is well laid out of the page.
This order took 2 weeks to arrive, which was a little longer than I had anticipated, but was not an issue as I was not in a hurry. I was nervous about receiving honey in the mail as I worried that it would leak, however when it arrived I was pleased to see that it was very well packed, in sturdy packaging and that there had been no leaking.
