I purchased a 55" LED TV for what I thought was a bargain price. However the item was advertised the next day for $200 less. I thought that as good service they would match the difference, or even allow me to use it as credit, as I planned to spend a further $1000 on the TV - they were unwilling. I know they don't have to offer this but I think it's good customer service.
When the TV was received, I found it to be damaged. The online return form was simple, but trying to get it picked up was a nightmare. They were incredibly inflexible with pickup times:
* I couldn't be home all day waiting for a pickup for a damaged item I didn't ask for * I was told that I should use my sick leave!? * I was told I should take it with me to work (it's a 55" TV, I couldn't find any car to fit it in) * I negotiated for a narrowed down time frame e.g. 3-5pm so I could duck out of work. I was told no, I had to be available all day. * I eventually had to get my mother to wait at my house for 7 hours until they arrived.
Once they received it they sent out another TV (fortunately I wasn't home) when I specifically asked for a refund...I then had a courier keep harassing me to arrange a delivery time as he said he couldn't just send it back to Kogan.
Long story short the refund took so long that I had to cover the cost on my credit card. Beware this discount service retailer.
I bought the Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 (16GB, White) and Multicolour Screen Protector Pack for Samsung Galaxy S3 - 8 Pack
Both items arrived approx 2 weeks after order date, items were in good shape and as described. Best lowest price I could find on the net.
Only issue with the Samsung I am experiencing so far is some technical fault, I have sent in a warranty claim and waiting for them to get back to me. The international model is slightly different from the Australian model, despite them saying it's exactly the same on the website.
Ordered a PVR Kogan brand through the site for only $39, great quality for the price, clear reception and a solid unit.
Also seen many of the prices for things such as iphone 4s which during sale times can be as much as a couple of hundred $$$ off. Not bad for apple products.

I have never shopped with Kogan and I have heard mixed things. I was not disappointed though. The process was really easy (two steps), I used their online store on my iPad (bonus points for a great mobile responsive website!) and I received my invoice immediately. Product arrived in a few business days, exactly as they stated.
I would shop with Kogan again, I was really happy with the overall service.
Kogan seems to offer a variety of electronics at cheaper than retail prices. It is an Australian company so there is some security of customer service locally if anything goes wrong.
I bought the Samsung S3 and the order was simple to put through. Shipping is relatively quick 5 days - although you have to keep an eye on when it will be delivered as you need to be home to accept the delivery. Luckily enough, mine coincided with a Saturday delivery.
Product is as advertised. It is a parallel import so the manuals and electrical plugs are not Australian. But that is a small price to pay for a cheaper product.
A HD SD memory card at the price of $49is unbelievable. In addtion, free shipping!! Class 10 high speed storage, and branded as Kogan itself. It shown its reliability, to that i think SD cards are quite stable in the market. Therefore, I have confident in purchasing although it was not a popular brand. One week for product to arrived by shipping.
