I must admit that I didn't purchase too much from Kogan but I did buy a Stylus Pen during the peak shopping season (Christmas). The website itself is easy to place an order on.
Payment was easy with Paypal. However Shipping time was a real let down. I know Kogan has it's warehouses in Hong Kong and I know that my product was a $1 clearance but I must admit that shipping shouldn't take ~ 1 month.
Despite the shipping time, overall I was satisfied with the product itself and how it was easy to place an order.
I had been looking for a "Key" shaped USB for a while, and found them for a great price on Kogan. I ended up ordering 3 x 32GB USB "Keys".
The order process was simple. The only disappointing part was the expected dispatch date was noted on the invoice, but the items were dispatched 4 days after the noted date, which was 17 days after the order date.
Would've been nice to receive the items more promptly, but nonetheless, I'm happy with the items.

This was true again with this order. Camera was far cheaper than Australian pricing and I received the camera via DHL in 8 days.

At Kogan, I bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S. Although I was pleased with the price (one of the cheapest I came across), I was disappointed with the shipping and the overall quality of the product. The shipping arrived almost two weeks after the expected shipping date. The accessories that came along with the phone were in already-open plastic packets, and the quality of the accessories weren't the greatest. Having bought this phone over three months ago, the quality of the phone in comparison to other Xperia Arc S's (which were bought from the other websites) is considerably lower. Next time I'll probably give Kogan a pass and pay the extra money from another dealer.
On the 20/12/2012 i ordered 3 Kogan micro sim cards and was told before purchase that they wouldn't be dispatched until the 28th December and sure sure enough i received a shipping notification on the 28th december.
They just arrived today and unfortunately they were all nano sims so are unusable to me.
The product was on discount for one day, well below market price. Price included a 12 month warranty but did not include the $20 delivery charge. Purchase was confirmed the next day and delivery took 7-10 days. The item came in good condition. Kogan offers such discounts periodically on a wide range of different electronic items. It is a good idea to subscribe to their newsletter if you are interested in getting good prices on new tech.
