- Ordered the above listed item 03-19-15, by 03-20-15, the item dropped to $42.63 cheaper - Contacted SurfStitch Live Chat support, they said they could not honor the difference - Sent a follow up inquiry through their Customer Support e-mail and requested a manager review this concern - They replied back saying "if we refunded everyone the difference very time something went on sale it would defeat the purpose of a flash sale!" - Someone forgot to tell this CSR that a flash sale is temporary, usually 24-48 hours...not a full week long promotion like it's currently advertised on their website, I found this to be very misleading and very incompetent of the CSR - Since this was an International order, I paid $41 dollars in duties fees, because the value of the item was listed at $76.97, and you can pretty much order it for the current reduced price of $35 with their discount code on top of the sale price - Paying a duty charge is ok, there's no way around that, but the fact that they wouldn't even reimburse the difference on the sale price was insulting and I was hit with a higher duty fee on top of all of this - Contacted the owners Justin Cameron and Lex Pedersen known as the founding fathers of SurfStitch, they could care less and didn't even reply - Overall I am extremely disappointed as a first time purchaser of this website and will not recommend them based on their poor response to the consumer, their unwillingness to troubleshoot a problem, their selfishness in not honoring the difference in price just one day after the price decreased
Having been a returning customer of SurfStitch for quite a while, I honestly haven't had one single negative experience with this online retailer. With the Australian dollar declining in value against British pounds and American dollars, I find myself "stuck" with Aussie online stores, and SurfStitch is one shop that I keep going back to. Fast shipping, and great stuff in sale section!

The shoes were on sale probably due to having one size left, which happens to be my size, plus 30% discount on all sale items. Great shoes, super fast delivery. High recommended!
I ordered a pair of work shoes (vans) off surfstitch. They had a sale on so I got 20% off and free shipping. Usually it takes a little while for things to arrive to my house as I'm in regional south australia, but this literally arrived the next day via courier, which was convenient as my work shoes broke the day before that! I was especially impressed that they had express shipping advertised as 2-3 business days and I got my parcel in less than 24 hours.
Their customer service is great, products are fantastic are shipping times rule!
I ordered products to ship overseas. Surfstitch offered a free shipping because my order is greater than $50. That’s generous. (The threshold for free shipping to each country, please check the website).
I initially noticed from the website Q&A that my goods maybe subject to international shipping cost because some of the goods (travel bag) may be viewed as bulky item that according to website which could cost me around $30-$40. I found that it’s kind of acceptable, then I placed an order with surf stitch and at the confirmation page there is no additional delivery cost and I made the payment. However, due to my recent bad experience with other website that they could charge me later for additional shipping costs so I was wondering if surfstitch would do the same. Thus, to kill my curiosity, I left a message on the customers service section on the website to inquire about this around 8pm sydney time (note here that's after hour). Early morning of the very next day I got a reply from the customer service confirmed that it's zero shipping cost. To me, it’s highly impressive for this quick response as I experienced from other online shopping website that the turnaround of this kind could be up to days or week. Two thumbs up for this!
In addition, I placed order around 8pm and again the very next morning I got an email telling me that the goods were already dispatched! '

delivery is free for items over $50 as well as the added bonus of free returns (for items that are the wrong size/fit etc). i don't think i've ever come across this in an online retailer before, which is great (most make you pay for shipping at your own cost, unless it is their fault - even then, most of the time you pay shipping first and are then reimbursed). this is free returns, regardless of the reason, so long as it is over $50.
the items was marked as posted the next day and delivered that same day. 24 hour turnaround. amazing!
unfortunately, my wallet looked nothing like the pictures (completely different color), so i emailed them. they promptly apologized (and promised to update the website) and as they did not have the pictured item in stock, asked that i send the item back for a full refund. no problem there. slightly disappointed about not getting the wallet, but nevertheless, appreciate the hassle free return and refund procedure
the only thing i can say which is slightly daunting, is that there are no physical stores as Surfstitch is online only, meaning you will have to trust in their pictures and for items and sizes you are unsure about, you just have to buy them, and if they're not right, return them for a refund. slightly inconvenient (imagine, buying multiple sizes of one item for multiple items, just to make sure they fit!). but nothing to stress about as their service and refund turn around time is highly commendable, so i don't think you'll be out of pocket for long
all enquiries (both email and via online chat) were responded to very quickly and with enthusiasm. completely deserving of their online retailer of the year award (2012)
based on my experience, i would definitely have no issues buying from them again and am not afraid to recommend this site to others
I ordered in the early hours on Thursday and received it the very next day, today is Friday! So within 20 hours they processed and got the products shipped off to me, is that impressive or what?
Since I ordered over $25, express delivery was free. (Shipping is $4.99 otherwise). Returns is free if you spend over $50 at Surf Stitch. I am happy with my dresses and will not be returning them. Picked them up during a great sale and very pleased.
I also love the live chat service they have because it's a real person answering any of your questions - very helpful.
