What a woeful customer service. It feels more like talking to a bank than a luxury fashion label.
I still haven't received my item and the price dropped in the meantime. No way to get the difference or a cancelation. Got just cut off in the online chat at 8pm - in the middle of a conversation to solve the issue.
A follow up email by myself was replied with standard answers and not helpful to solve the problem and make the customer happy. I could get a refund but was not allowed to buy the item again with the high discount. This is not even stated in the T&Cs.
They lost a long time customer with their behaviour and very strict rules. Be aware to NEVER buy at full price ... a minimum of 70% discount is normal for this label - lots of sales to make it impossible to find out the real price! Does not hold value when you buy full price. It's a DISCOUNT label.
Exceptionally poor customer service and overpriced products
Head office Oroton have no customer service at all. Both the customer service manger and her assistant were so obnoxious and absolutely rude. All I wanted to do was exchange an oroton product which I received as a gift but I had no receipt and they demanded that I get one. The bag that I received was so overvalued for just an Australian product. They said that I needed the bank statement off the person that gave me the gift(how rude to ask someone for their bank statement). When I asked them why can't they just exchange the product for something else? Their excuse- so many people try to counterfeit Oroton bags! Who do they think they are? Chanel / Gucci/ Dior. I can't believe people buy their products they are extremely expensive considering the fact that I can buy 2 Michael Kors bags for the price of 1 Oroton bag. Yet at least MK has stunning designs and the quality of his bags are 10 times better than Oroton. It was so disappointing to deal with those 2 ladies at head office as they were extremely rude and represented their company in a very poor way. I just hope to see this brand lose so many customers.
I purchase a leather bag and a leather wallet from Oroton both at 50% off. Delivery is $15 no matter how many items you order. Website easy and straight forward to use. My only negative would be that the items need more pictures to show their true look. Some bags are wallets are only shown at 1 or 2 angles. Pictures at different angles and inside the bags/wallets would be more helpful in deciding which items to choose. My items were delivered in 9 business days. The website does inform you that delivery many take a bit longer during sale periods so if you can't wait then I would suggest going into an Oroton store. I think there is more stock on their online store though.
Oroton outlet online was having a sale so i snagged myself a makeup case for a friends birthday. The process was really simple and the product came in only a few days.

I ordered a present for my daughter on the 30/6/2014, for her 21st birthday tomorrow. 10 days later still no bag, my credit card was charged on the 30/6. Followed up with Oroton earlier in the week and got told to track with courier. Called courier who could not locate, called Oroton who told me they did not have a direct line to the courier so would have to email them. I told them I would cancel order, to which they said the had 10 working days to deliver, which is today! Oroton customer service then told me the tracking number was not the one they emailed me, regardless of me reading it directly from their email. Needless to say I have no present for my daughter grandparents to give my daughter for her 21st, and Oroton could not careless. They are rude, and ignore the fact I have paid them for the goods and the courier, and they have a duty of care to resolve this. I will now put a dispute on with my credit card company for there charge due to goods not received. No wonder people shop off shore.
This review is for the highpoint store in Marybirnong!!! I haven't had the bag not even for a six month period! Bag fell apart, they did absolutely nothing about it and did not care one single bit!!!! Don't bother buying !! You will get disappointed!!!
I bought the Alpine signature medium hobo in beige and as soon as I took it out of the plastic packaging, I could see small dark spots on the fabric. Looks like very small black fibre got caught up while the fabric was beeing manufactured. It is small but because the bag is beige colour, one black spot especially is noticeble.
If you want to buy the bag, I would advise buying it in brown or black, definitely not in beige.
I thought if I buy online then the product is brand new, should not have any marks on it. They need better quality control, make sure bag is perfect before shipping it off. Very disappointed. I think the quality of their product is definitely slipping.
I have also had bad experience with their instore customer service.
