I love using Coles Online, I use it for my monthly shop and find it so easy to re-order previous items and locate new items and specials. The payment and delivery process is easy and my orders always arrive within the delivery window I book. I never have problems with missing items or damage so I can highly recommend it as it saves so much time.
I started ordering with Coles home delivery service earlier this year. I live upstairs and carrying groceries has been difficult due to illness. Now I am delighted to have my groceries delivered to my door. I was initially concerned that Coles would deliver fresh chicken, dairy products etc that were close to their expiry date. So far I haven't had any problems with this. Some of the fruit has gone off quickly, but I have this problem with fruit that I've bought from all supermarkets in recent years.
I have a few minor complaints about ordering with Coles:
1. Some products that I assume would be readily available are not on the website.
2. After I have placed my order, I receive an email saying that a few products are not in stock. If I had known this at the time of ordering, I would have bought something else.
3. Estimated delivery times sometimes change and I have to wait longer than anticipated.
Coles online shopping can be an absolute life saver, especially if you have young children and find it hard to get out of the house, do the big weekly shop and still manage to keep everyone calm at the same time! Sometimes though, it is not so helpful and items are left out from orders, entire bags are missing, healthy/fat free items are replaced with full fat items and then there are the items that are out of stock all together. On top of that, you have to decide whether to risk your fresh fruit, veg and meats on a complete stranger packing your shopping. Too many times I have received meats and deli goods that are a day out from their used by dates, under ripe fruit and mushy vegetables.. this all defeats the purpose of the "convenient" online shop as you end up having to go in anyway! Shipping is always pretty good though (being in the 2 or 3 hourly time frame you choose to reserve) and only once have I had a late delivery which was about 20mins overdue. The foods items are always very cold and packed well and most of the time the delivery men and women are lovely. I shop at Coles online when I am time poor or when I just plain can't be bothered and I would say that most of the time I am happy with it, but like everything it does have it's ups and downs.
I do a monthly grocery shop with Coles Online, it is extremely convenient, easy to navigate and find all the items you need. I often find my deliveries turn up earlier than the scheduled time but not too early for me to miss the delivery! This particular order, whilst a simple process as previous shops, a couple of products were damaged and the driver apologised. This is the first time it has happened in the whole time I have shopped with Coles so it doesn't change my recommendation to everyone, to at least give it a go, you will be surprised how easy it is!
It is so convenient to do my monthly shop online, Coles makes it easy to find the products you need, delivery times are quite flexible and the website is easy to use. My order arrived in perfect condition with a few freebies thrown in which was nice. Overall an always pleasant shopping experience.
I use Coles Online monthly for my grocery shop and it is always a smooth transaction. My order is delivered within the time period specified and items are never damaged. This order was exactly that way. The driver's are helpful and you can modify your order up until midnight the day before. Definitely recommended.
Coles Online is the easiest way to shop, I do my monthly shop online and find searching for items, ordering and checkout is simple. I like the Free Delivery Wednesday when you spend more than $100. My order always arrives within specified time frame and you are often given samples with your groceries. Definitely recommended.
