I find the Apple stores very pretentious. I've had a few odd experiences in them, so when I need my fix of Apple gear I usually buy online. The store is great. It's easy to navigate and the process to make a purchase is good.

The service you get from Apple is second to none. I was constantly kept up to date with my purchase up to the point where the iPad arrived in reception desk at work. Delivery was made within 2 weeks of ordering and as per the ETA noted online.
I recently orders 2x IPODS from the Apple Australia site. Even with personalised engraving my items arrived on the 3rd day of placing the order. As part of delivery service, you receive a SMS on the day of delivery telling you the courier is on their way. Shipping is also free.
Prices were good, on the day I purchased there was 10% discount. If you subscribe to the newsletters you can keep up to date with product news and discounts.
Easy transaction, well designed website. Would definitely shop at this site again to buy apple products instead of going into a reseller.
Imac 21.4 inch was purchased and delivered from online store at approximately 4 days afterwards with tracking number. Have since purchased more products and have been very happy.
Purcahsed a Apple Thunderbolt cable 2 meters in length and product arrived boxed after 5 days at my door step was happy with item and have since purchased more items.
I purcahsed a Imac 27" with 1 TB and arrived in 10 days as pitcured and described on website. Very happy and bought another for a friend shortly after.
Purchased the Large Softcover Book (like a photo book) Number of pages: 100 Delivery took 8 days and was received well. was very happy with the quality of paper and the printing of the images (was form a holiday) Recommend!
