A good thing about ordering from Target online is that you always have a better choice of sizing than in store. I ordered a peplum top that I really liked but my size was sold out at my local Target, so I hopped online and ordered it.
I opted for the free click and collect. Reading other people's review I realise that it may be the Target you choose to have your items delivered to that determines how long it actually takes for delivery confirmation. Delivery to my Target of choice took 8 days, which seemed like forever when you expect it within the week. And by the time I actually got around to picking it up (2 weeks after the ordering date), the top was in the clearance sale for half the price! I will be returning it and re-ordering!
Target customer service is great, they allow you to return things without questions as long as you have a receipt. And if you don't have a receipt, they will give you a store credit - fantastic!
Ordering system could be improved, but often have good prices
Ordered some household items, such as towels, air drying rack and pillow cases. Delivery was free as the order was over $75.
My order was marked as shipped 2 days later with some items arriving the next day, which was nice and fast.
As the delivery was incomplete (yet my order was marked as delivered), i called up their customer service to enquire as to the remaining part of my order.
They said that i had to wait a few days to see if the item would arrive shortly after, which it did (the next day).
This was a little inconvenient, as i felt that if the orders were shipped out separately for 2 deliveries, there should have been a notification and tracking for each.
More concerning was the fact that although the delivery was incomplete, my order was marked as completed. If it had happened that my item had never arrived, im not sure i would have been able to dispute it or what i would have been able to do
But overall, as all my items arrived and in good time, i would still buy from Target again
Order an iPad on 18th Sep and received email require a photo ID be sent via email or fax to verify identity. Target explained this is an arrangement with Apple. Why do they need my ID? Cannot I just show my ID when pick up the item? I am concerned to give my personal information to a retailer.Despite this issue, the website is user friendly and you are able to track the item. Shipping took around 5 working days.
have purchased a doll online to pick up in store. Doll took long time to be on store, and even though they had the same doll available I had to wait for the one I purchased to be there so I could pick up, It took a long time. not so happy about it
When it's Winter and you can't find any stores that sell swimmers at reasonable prices, Target to the rescue!
I bought two sizes of boys swimming trunks for my son at $9.60 each in order for him to try on for best fit, and also a pack of TMNT socks that were sold out in store.
However, it took two weeks for my order to be ready to be picked up in store... too long in my opinion. They can be a hit and miss with order readiness.
I returned one pair of trunks in store that didn't fit him, not questions asked, too easy.
Free delivery for orders over $75 with some competitive pricing
Bought a few Xbox games to play. Pricing was comparable to other retailers.
As my order was over $75, I received free delivery
My order was confirmed the same day and marked as shipped the next day with a tracking number. My package arrived 5 days later.
Nothing to complain about, though perhaps i would have expected slightly faster delivery times. Maybe next time, instead of having the convenience of delivery, i may arrange pick up from a local store. Thought im not sure if it will be any quicker using this method.
I went to my local Target store to buy the Lego Duplo Large Brick Box which was on sale, but they had no stock. Fortunately, the online store had it available. However, it's the ONLY Duplo available online. The online store has very few items. Hopefully they expand their online store, because it's a convenient way to buy items not available at your local Target.
I chose the Click and Collect option which took 9 days to arrive, because they were doing a stock-take at the warehouse. The website warned me about the delay and they also sent me an email reminding me that the delay was unusual.
The in-store pickup was quick and easy. Although it would be nice if they just gave you the item, instead of the shipping box which was four times the size of the Legos box and awkward to carry in the mall with a toddler in tow.
