Shipping times seem slower than others. Average prices
I ordered a Google Cardboard just to see what all this virtual reality business was all about
For under $10 shipped, not a huge investment to try it out.
The order was a little slow to be marked as shipped (2 weeks), with the item did arriving a month and 2 days later. So overall, approximately 7 weeks from date of purchase to having the item in hand.
More towards the slow end of delivery times, but still within my 2 month allowance.
As for the Google glasses. quite an interesting concept and can be fun to play with for a while. but there are more apps that need to be developed to support it before it really takes off.
As my first purchase from Deal Extreme, i'm not unhappy with the experience, but not blown away. I would consider purchasing from them again, but would prioritize other online stores first
Placed an order for a screen protector for my camera. All protectors in physical stores were not the right size for the camera, as the size of the LCD is different from the glass size.
In fact, I made a purchase with my camera which didn't fit, which was more expensive...
I found one protector on DX for only $1.50 which included free shipping. The product arrived on the 21/5/13, which is about 2 week from order date. Have to say that it's pretty quick for this, considering i didn't have to pay for shipping.
The protector is good quality too. Sticks on the camera without any hassles.
Would definitely make another purchase here again.
DX is a great website to buy electronics especially accessories.
In this instance I purchased a small speaker for my iPhone. It was a very cheap price but the quality of the item was good. The best thing is DX will ship anywhere for free including Australia. The shipping however is very slow and in this case it took 6 weeks which is fairly typical for DX. The DX reviews on this product were accurate and helpful. There is also a live chat in multiple languages which makes asking question or sorting problems fast and easy. DX was great for this purchase.
Ordered 7 items, they were delivered 20 days later. Great prices, as many others have noted, and they have a great selection of gadgets, tools, and toys. If you're looking for something to use or just play with around the house, chances are you will be able to find it on DealExtreme. (as long as you don't have urgent need for the things you order, and are prepared to wait)
i bought a micro usb male to rj45 female adaptor for my tablet
chose DX for its good prices, and feedback for the adaptor seemed to indicate that many people had managed to get it working with their tablets. so for the price (plus free shipping), i thought it was worth a shot
got the confirmation invoice, and the item arrived after just over 2 weeks, all in good order
sadly the item didnt work, but that would most likely be an issue with my tablet, and not any fault with the item nor the company.
happy with the price and shipping times (give it 2 weeks to be safe). would buy from them again from my experience so far
I've bought several items from Deal Extreme over the years, never had any issues with missing items and they always arrive within the estimated shipping time which is up to 3 weeks. My latest purchase from them was a Torx T2 screwdriver for PSP that I needed to disassemble a tablet to unbrick it. It arrived within 7-10 business days and in good condition.
