If you order from boohoo, you will be the one crying! Boohoo sells cheap clothing at a cheap price. That would be alright if they didn't have such lousy customer service. If you order from them, be prepared to be one big unhappy customer. To prove it, try and find a contact phone number so you can call them. They have so many problems, they can't handle the calls so they don't give out a number. And if you try to use their system of tweeting and direct messaging, expect it to take days to resolve your issue. I just gave up!! They may tell you they resolved your problem because they said "sorry" but "sorry" is all you will get and all you will be if you order from them.
I ordered a few shorts and playsuits off boohoo and i love what i have received as per usual! They have a wide range of clothes at really cheap prices. The parcel came on time and most of the clothes were on sale, some being further discounted. The site is easy to use although i do find that searching for clothes in the search bar is quite confusing. The only issue i have is that i find the size guide can be quite unreliable so usually i look at what size the model is wearing and try and guess based on that, which as you can imagine can sometimes be unreliable. All in all BOOHOO is my absolute favourite on-line store and i will be shopping there again!
With a christmas sale and student discount Boohoo looked like a great choice for a new clothing order.
The website was easy to use, with quick postage from Australia Post including tracking! Emails were prompt and detailed and the items were great quality.
An item had to be sent back due to not being as expected. $7.50 for the return postage but it does take a while for a refund to be processed. Customer care was very fast to reply to any questions.
Last night i ordered three sweaters and a shirt off Boohoo all for $64 (working out to be $16 an item!) as there was a site-wide 20% off and on top of that, free shipping! The website is easy to use and they have a massive range of stuff. From past experience although their sweaters are not made of wool they are quite comfortable and good quality AND look really good as well. Shipping is usually quite fast and will arrive within 10-15 within 8 working days and considering it comes from England that is very reasonable. They always have some sort of discount running and I will be recommending BooHoo to my friends!
I was extremely hesitant to buy from boohoo after reading some very negative reviews but I decided to give them a go as they had some items I really liked. I've been ordering clothes from them over the past 5 months and am really impressed with their service and clothes.
Their delivery timeframe has been exactly what they advertise (7-10 working days in NZ and free delivery over $50.00 which is great because I can pay up to 7.50 for items ordered in my own country from NZ suppliers which seems crazy to me)
Most of the items I've ordered have been exactly as advertised and I've been getting plenty of wear out of them (and compliments too). There has been the odd item that is a bit disappointing, mainly because the colours are a bit more vibrant than they look on the website. I'm on a budget when it comes to clothing so I don't pay $20.00 for a dress and expect it to look like $200.00 worth!
I've ordered a wide range of clothing - dresses, cardigans, leggings, jeans, tops. I would say that everything is pretty much true to size but you might want to go up a size in dresses as they tend to be very fitting.
I've only had one delay in delivery and once I contacted them to advise I hadn't received my delivery they were onto it straight away and I had my order within a week, they kept me updated via email as to where my order was at all times.
They have really good specials/sales which are great - I don't usually buy anything unless it's on sale.
Overall I am really impressed with their sales/service/clothes - if you want trendy clothes on a budget boohoo is the place to go!
I am beyond disgusted from this website. It is NOT trustworthy to shop here. Don't believe me? Go to their website and see for yourself. They advertise that "they pay for duties and taxes" and that there "will be no surprise charges". However, I am being SLAMMED with duties and taxes (I live in Canada). I am beyond livid because that is the whole purpose I shopped there, and spent over $100 which isn't pretty with taxes and duties. Under their terms and conditions it says that the customer is responsible for duties and taxes. So how come they are advertising that THEY pay for them?? Who runs a business like this?! Their customer service is horrible as well, I have sent 5 e-mails regarding my purchase and have not had one back in at least 2 weeks. I feel like I'm being scammed. I hate boohoo.
I recently shopped at BOOHOO and found it to be really fantastic (as usual :)) they have a huge selections of styles for prices that just cant be found in Australian retail stores! I like that they always have some sort of discount when ordering on-line so I rarely pay full price. Although all together it was a very good shopping experience my parcel arrived quite a few days after promised, also the size chart is really off (would not recommend using it, my measurements indicated I was a 14 but in reality im a 10) but its easy to guess what size I am by looking at what size the model is and seeing how much bigger/smaller I am than her!
