After I'd finished cursing profusely about loosing the second and last key for my bicycle lock I reluctantly placed an order for an identical replacement: 1 x Abus Granit Power 58 D Lock. I shopped around and after failing to find the German made lock anywhere in Australia I had to order one across from the UK and Tweeks Cycles offered the cheapest price I could find.
It cost the equivalent of $150 plus $75 international delivery to Oz, but I'm very attached to my custom built bicycle and the 16mm thick hardened steel D Lock keeps it very safe (though at slightly over 2.5Kg the lock adds a fair bit of weight to the bike!). The lock does come with a keycard where you can quote the number to the manufacturer to order a replacement copy of your key and I've made sure to keep this one safe, as accidentally leaving behind the keycard for the original one in the UK proved to be a costly mistake.
Tweeks sent out the order in a couple of days and it took around a week to arrive, which seemed reasonable for an international order. Overall I was happy with the replacement lock and order.
