I placed an order with this appalling company over a year ago. Despite numerous emails, enquiries and "fob-offs" my purchase (valued at over $100) has neither been received, nor the money refunded. Avoid this site at all costs!! I wish I had read these reviews before being taken for a ride. Downright stealing. No other word for it.
I ordered perfume from this site on 27th May 2013 and am still waiting, it is now Feb 2014. Contacted 'Sven' after 6 weeks and he was initially very apologetic. I have emailed numerous times since enquiring about my refund. Sven stopped replying in October. I am going to contact my bank and the ACCC. The website needs to be shut-down.
Purchased 2 perfumes on Hot Cosmetics website on the 21st December, and the money was taken out of my debit card straight away. At first I was thinking it would be efficient and that it wouldn't take long to be delivered, their website looks quite legit even though I'd never used them before.
It got to the 14th Jan 2014, and I was starting to get really suspicious by then as I didn't even receive a confirmation e-mail or tracking ID for the package.
Decided I'd e-mail 'Sven' but the e-mail came back undeliverable, so I e-mailed them through their website.. No reply today, so I rang the mobile number on the website.. Apparently it's disconnected.
Words can't describe how angry I am!! I only wish that I read all the horrible reviews before I went on their website. I can't believe people can seriously do this kind of stuff without consequences or feeling guilty, and you know what you would call that kind of company.. A pyramid scheme!! Money for products that never come.
I ordered perfume for my sister from Hot Cosmetics, its now almost a month ago and nothing they took payment a day after i ordered it and thats the last that i have heard, i have emailed them and tried to phone but nothing, i either want my money back or the perfume, but not much i can do if i cant contact them.
I ordered perfume in July 2013, it never arrived, lots of excuses from Sven, no action. He promised to refund my money, I reported him to Consumer Affairs in Melbourne and he told them he would refund my money... I am yet to receive my money. How can this company continue to take peoples money.
I'm experiencing the same since May 2013. Now he doesn't reply to my emails at all. This site needs to be shut down before they steal more money from consumers. I don't know how it can still be up and running. Does reporting them to Consumer Affairs help?
Consumer Affairs in Victoria phoned them and got an assurance that he would refund my money, however they have no power to make it happen. They suggested that I lodge a claim with VCAT - small claims if I don't receive a refund. So far no refund....
I made a purchase on the 11th August 2013 and paid in full on the day. I still have not received my item 3 months later. Sven the owner keeps saying next week but still no word! I would not trust or buy from this company again and they are dishonest! I have requested a full refund multiple times and no response.
I will be making a complaint with Fair Trading and Paypal in regards to this company as they are not trust worthy and I don't want other people to be put in the same situation as I am! Very unhappy.
