I ordered some beauty products because DJ had a promotion where you get a $20 gift card for every $200 spent on beauty. I also have access to DJ gift cards at 10% off so I saved 20% on my purchase. With free delivery, why wouldn't you shop online? Very happy with my purchase.
I was in David Jones store on Sunday, but wasnt able to purchase the lego toys I wanted as I was with the kids.
When I got home I logged into David Jones online store, they were offering the same discount on the lego as I saw in store, and delivery was free. All the lego was 30% off and they stocked the Lego Pet Store and Lego Town Hall set which are sometimes hard to get and usually expect to pay RPP.
I placed and order on Sunday received notification its dispatched on Monday and expecting item to arrive Tuesday. I was impressed with the handling time all up 3 days. I think this is a great turn around given its xmas trading as well.
I will shop again on David Jones online store. It was so easy. Only thing I was a little disappointed in was that I didnt see option to use David Jones Gift Card to pay for online goods.

didnt really shop around, saw some items on the website that i could grab for presents so i did - delivery was free for my total spend and included a $50 voucher for shoes (over $100) for my next online spend
there were a few issues as my order wouldnt go through on the online checkout. i had to ring up and a very helpful sales consultant collected details of my order and manually placed it for me
after that, i got the usual order and postal email confirmations
the majority my items arrived 2 days later (super quick!), in a nice looking David Jones box, well packaged. in my mind, the box was a bit unnecessary, but it does add to the premium service/prestige feel offered by David Jones. nice, if those things matter to you.
i say majority, as i never received my voucher, so i contacted David Jones and enquired about it. i was informed that it shipped separately, and indeed, it arrived 2 days later.
overall, my first time buying from David Jones online. a bit of confusion and technical issues with order and delivery, but the customer service was excellent and very helpful. based on this experience, i would definitely buy from David Jones again
My shopping experience with DJs online store was better than I anticipated. I made a purchase that had incorrectly went through my credit card 3 times. As I was checking-out, the website crashed & I did not recieve reciept numbers until the 3rd time. When I discovered the 3 transactions, I contacted DJ. They prompted replied and promised to look into it as soon as possible. My transactions were reversed within 3 days and customer service was friendly & informative.
Hopely DJ will improve their website so that customers can make purchases seamlessly. Nevertheless, I am pleased with my experience & this has not deterred me from purchasing from their website again.
All my items were packaged securely and I recieved them safely ^.^
David Jones provides free shipping with purchases over $50. I took advantage of thier Burts Bees promotion which included a free full sized Burts Bees night cream when spending over $25 on Burts Bees products. My order arrived in 2 days which was suprisingly fast
Bought a pair of jeans and shoes from here because of the mid-year sale, no complains about it. But there are more variety at the shops itself so pass it unless you're really lazy. Shipping takes about a week with free returns.
