I ordered a CYGNETT IPHONE 5 BULLDOZER ORANGE CASE for $19.95 which included screen protector.
I would consider this price reasonably because otherwise I would have to purchase a iPhone 5 case elsewhere for about 25-30 bucks, and then another 15 bucks for screen protector.
Shipping was additional $1.95 from Sydney to Melbourne. It took a week to arrive. I ordered on 20th Nov and had been checking the order status every because it was sitting as Approved status. It didn't get shipped until 23rd Nov. Not sure if DealsDirect was busy because we just had ClickFrenzy on 20th Nov. But I was expecting DealsDirect to ship my at least item next day.
I also got tricked by DealsDirect when I saw the "Free Shipping banner when Sign Up" today. Only after I signed up, I didn't get free shipping and then I realise there is a condition that I must purchase $49 or over. Come on, don't say it's free shipping on the home page and ask people to sign up if there's catch like this....
Didn't get notification when my item was shipped neither.. But I have received the case now, it's not too bad. Happy overall. Just hope next time they will act faster.
This is a great site that actually offers DEALS! I had bought a build it yourself cupboard, with its parts costing up to 150 dollars. They provide quality pieces of material, and when I was finished constructing the product, I was pleased. The cons of this product was that the instructions provided were not as in depth as I would like them to be. I definately would consider buying more furniture from this website. Its a growing website and individuals should definately consider buying from this website.
I have made several orders with dealsdirect and they have never disappointed.
The website is easy to use and the cart function is great, you can calculate postage for any item before you commit to buy. You can pay via paypal which helps too.
They use a trusted courier and the goods always arrive in good order, usually within 5 working days.
I visit the website at least once a week to see what specials they have. Most recent purchase was a couple of storage cabinets, but have also purchased bed linen, knife sets, christmas lights, baby goods, just to name a few...!
Purchased a second TV (with built in DVD) from Deals Direct. I'd never used their site before but the TV was cheap at the time, so I decided to do it. Arrived in 10 days. Set it up and it worked fine to watch TV. Tried to use the DVD player about a month later and it didn't work. Took me ages to find a way to contact them. When I did they said they would get back to me. Eventually they got back to me and asked me to send it back. I would have to pay shipping. I got annoyed and eventually they said they would pay the shipping. Send it back and received a new TV another 8 days later which worked. Was a bit of back and forward to get a working product, however they did eventually fix the problem. Be careful of warranties with these guys.
I ordered 2 kitchen bar stools and a cordless phone for competitive prices.
I had some problems with the phone but the service was excellent and they paid for it to be posted back. The warranty covered me and they sent a new one straight away which was perfect.
I would recommend although intial shipping was a little slow, was 7 days.
I needed a last minute gift to arrive before christmas, finding it was easy, price was great and order arrived promptly. I like how Deals Direct categorise their products, it is a simple search format that works well. Items were cologne and a pet accessory pack. Shipment took 4 business days
We have used the supermarketdeals.com.au website a few times. It was an offshoot from DealsDirect but is now more part of the main website. Whenever we have used it we have found a mix of random things. i have usually bought it because of the cheap nappies they often have, although not necessarily in the size you want.
Shipping is not always cheap so we tend to buy when there is free or discount shipping or when there is a number of things we want to get.
Our order included conditioner, toilet paper, nappies, batteries and salsa. they had run out of laundry powder when I got around to putting in the order so be aware that the special may be there when you are thinking about ordering but don't take too long as they come and go.
Also check out different size packaging - sometimes they will have a super cheap pack of ten or you can pay twice the amount for a pack of twelve... The shipping took a while, up to two weeks, but was all fine.
