Order 10257700
Wouldn't use again, I paid for Premium express postage, ordered on March 5th and arrived on the 16th, waste of money, and I had to spend time and money chasing DHL and Australia Post.

Not entirely happy
Received my Nikon D3200...The Warranty is only for Europe,so pretty useless since I live in Australia....as is the Manual that is in the box,as it is entirely in Polish? And even though the web address has au at the end, don't be fooled,it was shipped straight from China....wouldn't buy from this website again....

Disastrous
Ordered a Samsung Galaxy note at what seemed like an excellent price - charged to credit card. Was informed several weeks later that I would have to make an additional payment of $30 above the agreed price, or the order would be cancelled.
Very slow email responses, would not recommend at all

DWI - will never go near them again
When the mobile phone I'd ordered finally arrived after about 3 weeks, the wrong (much cheaper) model number had been sent instead. There was no apology from DWI, simply a note to say if I wanted a refund to return it to a particular address, at my own expense, which I did.
After several weeks of continued promises to refund I eventually had to resort to a claim through Paypal, and even then they told paypal they had not received it. Fortunately I had an email from them mentioning that they had.

Fast delivery but warranty service is non-existent
I bought a Nikon DSLR from DWI Digital in December and it was delivered promptly. However, on opening the package, I found that the kit lens provided was not functioning. After contacting them, an RMA (warranty case) was initiated and I sent the lens to their local agent in Sydney for examination. Eventually I was advised that the lens showed signs of 'physical damage' and it would not be covered under their warranty. I then reminded them that I had paid extra for shipping insurance and, since the lens appeared to have been damaged in transit, I qualified for it to be repaired or replaced.
They have now advised me that, in the opinion of their service technician, the lens could not have been damaged in transit. They are accusing me of damaging the lens after I removed it from the delivered package, which is definitely not the case.
The lens was either (1) damaged in transit or (2) faulty when it was packed in Hong Kong. I believe the latter to be the case. These people are simply not prepared to honour their obligations under the warranty and have, in addition, defrauded me by accepting payment for shipping insurance and not paying up.
There are many reviews on the web by other customers who have had a bad experience with this company with claims under warranty. Beware! If you do business with them, keep your fingers crossed and hope you do not have to make a warranty claim.

Digital World International
I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 mobile phone from Digital World International of Hong Kong (Dwidigitalcameras.com.au) on 11.04.2014. This mobile and my subsequent dealings with DWI have been a disaster. From the start, the mobile was not able to switch between 3G and 4G networks. I contacted them via their website and they asked me to troubleshoot which I did without success. They then told me to send the phone back to them. They returned it several weeks later and told me that it was fixed. But this was only the start of the problems.
Randomly, incoming calls could not be answered because the screen froze. I contacted them. Again we went through the troubleshooting exercise without success. Again they asked me to send it back to them. They returned it after several weeks and assured me that the problem was fixed. However within two days the problem occurred again. I send it back. They returned it after several more weeks and said it was fixed 100%. The problem re-occurred and we went through the same thing. This time they claimed to have replace the motherboard. Before I got the phone back I asked them for a refund as I had realised by then that it was unfit for purpose. They offered me only AUD$225.50 which I rejected because I had purchased it for AUD$622.!!
The phone came back and within a few days I realised that there is now a signal problem with the phone which prevents me from receiving some incoming calls and making some outgoing calls. To prove that the fault is with the phone, I moved my SIM card to another phone and I didn't have the problem. Today, I have complained to DWI about this problem as well.
The end result is that I have not had a satisfactory mobile for 10 months. I have had the inconvenience of having to contact DWI on numerous occasions and of having to send and collect the phone, each time being assured that it has been fixed, only to find that problems continue.
In the circumstances, I regard the so-called refund which they offered as an insult. It is obvious that DWI treat their customers very poorly. I strongly advise that you do not deal with them.

DWI do not honour warranty claims!
I purchased an LG G3 from DWI. The phone was faulty from day 1 as the screen kept switching off and flickering. I raised an RMA request after 2 weeks and sent the phone back to them.
They have now made up some story about it being water damage and that it was my fault so they will not honour the warranty claim. This is impossible as the problem was evident since I first received the phone and it's never seen a drop of water. The technician then changed his story and said it was probably a fault with the manufacturing. The crazy thing is that he still demanded I pay $574! Now, they've taken my money and taken my phone and won't return it until I pay them!
This is literally the worst customer service I've received in years. I have since lodged a complaint with Consumer Affairs as numerous messages back and forth with DWI have gone nowhere. I will pursue further legal action if I have to but it's incredibly painful.
Bottom line, do not purchase from DWI. Their prices are great but you will get zero support if anything goes wrong.
